Sup. . .

HELLO ALL! My name is Kristen, I'm 24, and I want to blog. . . .Phew! So glad that's off my chest! So, this is my first blog EVER! I've always wanted to write, blog, and just simply tell my story! I know some of you folks can relate! I was born in southern Louisiana, raised in central Georgia. I'm a southern girl. . . well, sorta. (People flip out when they find out I'm from the south because I don't have that typical "southern accent"). I have a HUGE FAMILY and I love them all!

 I joined the Air Force in 2007, right out of high school. I was stationed in Washington (loooooonnnggg way from home!) as a fire truck mechanic.  It is also where I met my husband  We got married and I couldn't be happier! We had a daughter (who is now 3), finished my enlistment, considered reenlisting, but decided as a parent, there needs to be at least one constant parent, and hung up my uniform. I had a son shortly after (now a year old), and the transition from working crazy hours, to being a stay-at-home mom, definitively threw me for a loop! It is by far, the hardest, most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life! (The house stays clean too! That's a plus!! ;) ) So far, our family has completed one deployment, and we are currently going through another! This life ain't easy, but it's worth it! I love my husband and kids more than anything, and I know that military duty will always come before family whether I like it or not. So as a spouse and mother, I've got to keep on truckin'!
